Breedables Weekly News Roundup Week 17th to 24th November

Over the past week the breedables world was reasonably quiet in Second Life, with the continuation of the beta programmes for both bunny brands, and some news released from Petable Turtles and the Colour Training workshop mentioned last week.

HunnyBunny Bunnies

HunnyBunny beta went into a new beta step Friday night, which meant five to ten new people were to be added to the testing group. The Chicken Diaries team, although on the HB Update group, didn’t receive any of these random invites, so can’t tell you much more than this.

Ozimals Bunnies

The new release of open beta last week was tested successfully, as to find some bugs . Other than that, our own bunnies were quite happily breeding, and wearable most of the week.

At midnight on Monday 23rd the beta bunnies went poof (they were coded to disappear for that version) after an update was sent out. For those of us who couldn’t get to the updater in time due to our international timings, another Version box was sent out. From today on we’re on P4V1.3 of the betas, and testing a few new features released also.

Petable Turtles

The Petable team released an announcement towards the next trader item being developed. This is a Home / Non-Physical script for all turtles, meaning turtles will not cause collisions anymore. The development is so important that it will be given away as a free item, rather than points, in the hope that those creating turtle habitats will include the scripts for enclosing the turtles.

Further information is available on the Petable blog.

sionChickens & sionLabs

Although there has been, once again, no changes to the sion products, or any news, sionChickens hit the headlines again in the Alphaville Herald with an article concluding that the chickens provided a look into the meaning of Second Life.

On Saturday the Colour Training workshop at Better Farms was due to have been run. This was posted about in the last News Roundup for Breedables.
