PlantPets History

Conceived by Maniac Choche and Bruce Liebknect back in 2007, PlantPets were created as growing pot plants. The first varieties back in 2007 were the Aster and Poinsettia. Since then, many other varieties of plants have been given the PlantPet treatment. You can now find orchids, a shamrock, bird of paradise plants, a growing Mr Grass Head, roses, daisies, hyacinths, daffodils, bonsais and several other varieties.

PlantPets actually do grow (a Youtube video provides the growth cycle below) – and are relaint on your watering and control of their growth speed towards maintaining their health and happiness. In 2009 PlantPets not only opened up towards allowing other designers to design different ranges of plants, but also became breedable. PlantPets can now spawn little plants which can either be kept, sold or traded on.

PlantPet vendors can be obtained freely and you will find many of these scattered across Breedable markets all across the grid now, else you can visit the Mainstore and pick up a demo 24 hour PlantPet or purchase your own.
