The following notecard was released on 4th August 2009 by Fizziggle Rainmaker to respond to a few questions coming through on the V12 update.
To answer a few questions:
V12 chickens will eat V11 Food
V12 eggs will need v12 proteggtors
Egg Decay will happen while eggs are in proteggtors and also if stored in inventory.
Egg decay will only occur on v12 eggs. v11 eggs will not decay. Once v11 eggs are updated, they will be subject to egg decay in 60 daysv12 Chickens will need V12 transport boxes
V12 eggs had a slight name change, so egg detectors will need to be updated (drop the space from the end of the name of the sionChicken egg
Right click on your V11 Vendor to select update to get the latest V12 products displayed.
If you are a vendor owner, you will need to visit somone else’s vendor to get the free update OrbThe update Orb itself is good for a few days. If you need anew one, you can get a fresh one from the vendors
The Update Orb does not update the V9 Golden Roosters at this time.Will v11 radi-o-statics work with v12 eggs? Yes
