For the opening up of Open Beta for Ozimals Bunnies, there has been three exclusive releases from the Barnesworth Anubis and Callie Cline ‘veLveteen’ brand, called the Ozimals Open Beta Collection.
And for this period, all of these collectables are available for L$250. As they are transferrable also, I am taking advantage of that to offer The Chicken Diaries readers the chance to win one of these.
Three bunny hutches / burrows / houses have been released, exclusive to the open beta timing. For this limited period, these particular houses or accessories are available in special and exclusive colours, and some won’t be made available again.
All the velvetten exclusive releases are modify and transfer perms. Each can be purchased in-world at either the Ozimals Preview Store or veLveteen’s SO cal SIM. They are also available via xstreetsl.com and I have included the direct URLs to those xstreet purchases for you below.

A Gift for You
Because I am in need of celebrating myself after a rough week in real life, and would like to thank those who have supported and read this blog, I have one extra copy of one of the exclusive Velveteen releases to give away to readers of this blog.
I have chosen one of my favourites, the Bunnie Garden Hideaway. This will be given away to one winner only. To be entitled to go into the draw all you need to do is put up a comment on this blog post. I will make a random draw at the end of the week, so tell all your friends to make a comment (a nice one would be good, giggle), and we’ll see how you go. And use your SL name on the comment, so that I know who to gift the Hideaway to, if you’re the lucky winner. One winner will be announced by the end of the weekend, and I will send the Bunnie Garden Hideaway to you in-world. You have until Friday to enter yourself into this draw by commenting on this blog post. Good luck!
Bunnie Garden Hideaway
14 prims, including the tree stump house, grass mounds, hollow log, grasses and plants, mushroom with butterflies (touch on/off), food dish. There is a customisable hanging sign on the stump too, so you can name your bunnie hideaway as you wish.
Available from the Ozimals preview store (where you will see a sample set out with real live bunnies hopping around it), So Cal, and X-Street during the open beta. The Bunnie Garden Hideaway will only be sold during this time.
Bunnie Bungalow Hutch
The hutch itself is only 9 prims. This natural colouring and packaged set is being sold exclusively during the Ozimals Open Beta phase. I would presume that you might see other colours of the hutch over time, but this is your chance to get this natural colouring plus the picket fence, trees and flowers, picnic table, food dish and wild grass which you see here.
Fantasy Mushroom Bunnie House
This packaged set and exclusive colour will only be sold over the Ozimals Open Beta phase also. The set includes the big mushroom house (7 prims), the flower border, grass mound, a fantasy tree, food dish, wild grass, decorative mushrooms, the porch lantern. It’s only 11 prims in total for the house, lantern and grass (not the mound or flowers etc).
This mushroom bunny house can be seen displayed at the Ozimals preview store also, with little real (er, virtual) Ozimals bunnies bouncing in and out of it.

I have to say I love the blog. I started reading it when you were mainly doing the chickens and while I haven’t gotten into the turtles (am just not a reptile kind of girl), I am following eagerly with the bunnies. And thoroughly enjoying my own Ozimals! Thank you for an entertaining and informative blog.
I looked for sevaral weeks for the perfect hutch for the perfect virtual animals to be introduced to SL thus far. Ran into these on xstreet and couldn’t believe the price it looked too good to be true, so I went and looked at them inworld. I was amazed at the quality of these and how perfect and amazing they were I had to get one for my amazing bunnies! Good job!
I am so glad I found your blog. I have my ozimals beta bunny, but haven’t got him/her out yet – they need a home! And the hideaway is by far my favorite
Just got my beta bunnies! They could use a little house of their own! The hideaway is super cute!
I have to say I didn’t know much, ok nothing , about breedable pets in SL until the Ozimal bunnies and I have to thank Callie Cline for announcing in her group about them and the chance to be beta testers. Now, I’m hooked. And the Garden Hideaway is one of my favorite bunny homes I’ve seen so far. I’m very glad to have the forums and blogs like this to get more info. I’ve been in SL for a long time, but seems I’m always discovering new and wonderful things.
I haven’t done any of the previous SL breedables, so I only found your blog through the group notice about the good-beta-testers posts. I’ll definitely keep reading it, though — I particularly liked the garden posts, since I’m always on the lookout for new landscaping plants.
Wow these look very awesome, and seems there is something for everyone’s tastes. Good work =)
