Three of Second Life’s Breedable brands have provided some special gifts and editions to celebrate St Patricks Day today. I held off blogging about all of these until the day arrived. And it arrived with green emblem-ed bunnies, cabbages and green turtles.

HunnyBunny St Patteh Bunneh
As announced a couple of weeks ago, HunnyBunny had a male mate to the Valentines Bunny due for St Patricks Day. This exclusive bunny, the St Patteh Bunneh, was released at 6pm SLT on March 16th, with only 50 available for sale.
Being in the UK, I was worried that I wouldn’t have the opportunity to get one of these, so got up at 5am my time to zoom into the HunnyBunny mainstore. Three hours after going live with these, there were only eleven left, so I was lucky enough to grab one of the last.
The St Patteh Bunneh is a collectors edition hunnybunny sporting the re-design coming with Version 2 once HunnyBunny releases this. This irish bunny has shamrocks and a little leprachaun hat on. The ears are changeable in colour texture also. As a male, he will make an excellent mate for February’s valentines bunneh also.

Ozimals Cabbage Patch and Update
Along with the much anticipated update to Version 1.2 this week, Ozimals also released a gift for all Ozimals holders – one per avatar. The Cabbage Patch is literally that – a garden patch of yummy cabbages (if you’re a bunny, that is).
The 2010 Ozimals Irish Cabbage Patch is designed by Makaio Stygian. Similarly to the Valentine’s Day gift Love Totem, the cabbage patch offers a bunny bonus over this week – until Friday March 20th. This bonus reduces the amount of food and water the bunnies require during this period. Once past Friday, the bonus effects will no longer work, however the little build will still provide a lasting memento of the occasion, and looks cute if you have land your bunnies hop around.

Petable Turtles St Patrick’s Turtles and Accessories
Petable also celebrated this holiday in style with the completely free St Pats 2010 turtle. You may pick this up from a big green egg outside the mainstore at the Petable SIM. Again, one per avatar.
The turtle itself is a normal green, looking like a green starter turtle. On click, however, the special properties show, with blue-green shamrocks and a pot of gold turning up.
Additionally, three or four limited edition accessories went on sale today also – until Thursday. There is a Green hat for your leprachaun, and two shamrocks. There is also a birthday hat available to celebrate Grim’s birthday.
My image is the model shot I’ve taken to update our image database here at TCD. It shows my male St Pats 2010 turtle wearing his new St Patrick’s Day hat also. As he grows larger, the hat will get a little smaller on his head (I hope).
