With the Relay for Life Fashion Expo 2009 on full-bore, the SIMs are well worth a visit to introduce myself to some new-to-me fashion designers. My first trip to the Fashion Expo onto the Platinum SIM found me using up all my allowance on designs by {Zaara}, so here are some of them. If I put them into a modeling session, then at least I may feel like the spend on my wallet was worth it, although with {Zaara}’s designs, it seems like it always will be.
Outfit 1 : Summer Dress
The simple scarf-dress called Mrinali comes in several colour-ways, and is available in a pastel or brights fat pack. I chose bluebells to purchase, as I love the combination of blue and green. I have complemented the dress with a simple set of colour-change strappy sandals which came as a DSN gift last week, as did the lovely group of bracelets in aqua and gold, and the gold teardrop necklace was a gift in the previous VIP hunt. Of course, rather than take it out to a summer party, I used it while fishing, and must have been one of the prettiest fishers out there on the grid at the time I took these photos.

Outfit 2 : Summer Casual
This white drawstring pant set is called Anjuna. Anjuna includes the white drawstrings, a white tank in two layers, and three over-shirts with ties – red, green or blue floral. I chose the blue floral, and matched it with some clogs I’d just bought, and my pounami necklace which includes the same blues and greens. What better place to photograph this set, but relaxing in the palms at my own beach.

Outfit 3 : Summer Shopping
Finally, my third outfit was put together as a casual shopping outfit. But who said casual shouldn’t be fashionable also? I’ve combined a lovely pair of indigo jeans which have four different leg styles and the jewelled waist detail, with a beautiful organza blouse. The blouse comes in several colours, I went for red to match the free pair of clogs I received through DSN.
To accessorise the Zaara designs, I went out looking for the owl bag which is taking fashion blogging by storm. Although I’d only seen it in brown before, I discovered the Hoot Bag at Gritty Kitty comes in four colours, and I chose the multi-coloured one to go with this outfit. I also picked up a beaded bracelet to bring out the colours.
