For many bloggers such as myself, iHeartSL.com was the blog to become an author on. Sat at wordpress.com, once you had a wordpress logon, and authority from the iHeartSL owner, you could also post as an author on the popular iHeartSL.com blog. This was particularly helpful with blogs (like this one) which don’t fit into the normal fashionblog feeds, and deal with more specific or generic topics within Second Life.
Over the last weekend, the iHeartSL.com blog has moved to different hosting, and whilst the owner, Gogo, is busy working with Wordpress.com support to get that blog up and going again, the new hosting means that bloggers can now syndicate their feeds right onto iHeartSL.com.
This benefits blogs such as this one, because I don’t have to double-blog. Instead, our entries here will simply feed right onto iHeartSL.com. Of course, quite a few authors at the wordpress.com blog of iHeartSL.com solely blogged through that outlet, and with the move those writers won’t have that capability again until such time as GoGo and wordpress get the community blog up and going again.
