Previously having featured prefab landscaping little gardens, join me in my quest now for the best prefab vegetable, herbal and backyard kitchen gardens readymade (or easily made) for your own garden and photography needs.
There are too many to list here, and too many I ended up choosing, so I’ve broken this up into three posts. This is Part I, featuring Coopville, Busted and Sway’s.
Coopville – Vegetable Garden, Herbal Greenhouse Garden and Potting Shed Garden
I discovered the Coopville prefab gardens via xStreetsl.com, and grew to look further into these.
Coopville Vegetable Garden Kit
43 prims, L$498, with 1 prim vegetables you can plant as you please across the prepared rows of soil. Shovel, rake and trowel with accompanying animations. The vegetables are 1 prim, and you can choose from 13 of them, all of which are copy modify. The Vegetable garden kit also comes with trellis, tripods, stakes, two butterfly particle emitters, water bucket, and working sprinkler.
Coopville Herb Garden Kit with Greenhouse.
60 prims, L$498, with a brick walled planting bed, and greehouse. Shovel, rake and trowel with animations, six herbs to plant out, and four perennial flowers. Butterfly particle boxes, bird bath, seedling tray, water bucket, stepping stone, clay pots, sprinkler – all copy and modify.
Coopville Garden Kit with Potting Shed
76 prims, L$598, with old wooden potting shed (working doors and windows), picket fencing, soil with brick path. Plant, shovel and rake animations with tools, seven perennials, one pansy for potting, butterfly particle boxes, seedling tray, old table, water bucket, work bench, two clay pots, wash tub for planting and workable sprinkler.
This one is a favourite of mine, because the little shed can be used.

Busted Babe Vegetable Garden
This one is much simpler than the above from Cooperville. There are many vegetable gardens available through Second Life, many slanted for the Gorean culture. But I liked this one for it’s simplicity and low cost. At only 15 prims, the garden features eleven vegetables, and a hoe and spade animation. Copy and modify lets you set-up your own veggie patch as you please. Only L$250.

Sway’s Garden Set , Garden Set II and Farm Set
Sway’s Garden Set II consists of a little vegetable garden with or without a stone border, which is planted with pumpkins, potatoes and cauliflowers. There is a basket with vegetables and big sack. Four different animations – including a wearable sack to sprinkle seeds from, basket with hold animation, and work animation for the ground.
Sway’s Garden Set comes similar to II, but with carrots, tomatoes and lettucke, plus a shovel animation, garden hat to wear, and a wheelbarrow with sit animation.
Sway’s Farm Set – no, you don’t get a whole farm. What you do get is a cow called Elsa, a milk can, hay, milk bucket and milking animation. Oh, and some rubber boots for both her or him.
Sway’s Garden Gnomes – okay, so you probably don’t need them for that photoshoot, but how can you resist these seven?
Sway’s BeeKeeper Set – a bee yard, table, beehive, stool, beekeeper hat, shadows for the furniture, honey pots, spoon and honey frames, and a smoker with animation. Real fun.
Sway’s Marguerite Garden Set and Sway’s Rose Garden Set – both of these are similar, with multiple tools, watering cans, animations, flowers, soil, seed, garden pots and a garden hat. There is also a similar Sunflower Garden Set, and Orchid Garden Set.
Sway’s Hanging Garden Set – hanging pots with a stair to climb and water your flowers from, watering can, a hair flower, several hanging pots, soil, flower racks.
