Ever had one of those weeks / days / months / years? Where all you really want to do is go jump in something creamy, lick up all the sugar and make the world go away for a little while?
Yeah. Me too. Adorkable gave me the prop, at least, to take some of the stresses of second life away. Lookee at my cream muffin – called the ‘Dorkcake’.
I’m having one of those weeks. I expect quite a few in the breedables world know what I’m talking about. It might be from spending far too much time watching over sleeping bunnies who are being awkward about synchronising themselves into a breeding cycle at the expected time, or it might – like my week – be from spending every half hour looking into the barn to check for text over a clutch of new Petable Turtles – and not finding that birthstone egg I’ve been trying to get for four days now. Talk about frustration!
Sometimes the world just doesn’t allow you the control or fairness that you attempt to set up for it. Darn it for having a will of it’s own! But a good cream pie in the face might be a way of bringing the reality – or ridiculousness of the situation back into your mind.
Adorkables sent me their latest release pack. I’ve been so wound up in Breedables lately that I’ve forgotten to do all my other stuff, so the package arriving from Adorkables gave me a chance to 1. Look away from the turtles and 2. combine two of my greatest SL interests in one fell swoop. Oh, and 3. Have cake and eat it.
I first chose the stripper pole they newly have out – but then realised there’s no one around here to appreciate my new found pole dancing talent, not even my Aunt. Just me and the glowy turtles and hopping bunnies. Who probably don’t care if I’m wearing fancy new underwear – but hey – maybe that’s worth a shot to get that Garnet turtle?
No, Pacific, get your mind off the turtles, and back onto cream and sugar where it belongs.
So, I chose the dorkcake. It comes with five poses, and candy sprinklings. I set it out outside the barn, which I’ve recently redecorated and made bigger, and dived right in…
In the background darkness you may well notice an alien spaceship. That’s the alien spaceship, er, from VeLveteen, available at the VeLveteen store at Ozimals whilst the elite Alien Bunny is available to purchase. Sporky, our alien Ozimals bunny, hasn’t actually used it. She’s too intrigued by looking at the PinkyPigs set out in a sty to the side of the barn.
