The first Christmas / New Year / Holiday Season props and poses are out, while older ones have been brought out from retirement. I went looking for my first at the new Winterstock SIM set up as a Christmas Market. Here are the Holiday Season props and poses I found while walking around this winterfest of seasonal shopping.
La Petite Morte – Winter Day Photo Set.
This snowy scene comes with a sled with a pose, and the snowy hills and trees you see in this shot. It’s available for L$300 from the La Petite Morte stall at Winterstock.
Pulling Strings – Lots of Poses
The Pulling Strings stall at Winterstock offers eight different couple or group poses for the season, from ice-skating couples, to group poses for snow ball fights and decorating the tree with baubles. There is also a mistletoe pose for couples.
Glitterati – Present Props and Christmas Card Poses
These are new out for Glitterati, and available from Winterstock.
The Present Props come in both male or female version. I purchased the chunky pack which contains both gift packages for both genders, plus the poses are provided separately.
Glitterati also has two new poses out designed to make taking those Christmas Card photographs easy.
Spock – Snow Angel and Mistletoe
The Spock stall at Winterstock offers this Snowangel animation prop – helpful if you have a snowy spot, and a sculpted mistletoe with pose.
Free Style – Christmas Props and Poses
The Free* Style store offers a 13 prim snowman which comes with 3 poses. And it’s free! As is a large sugar cane and mistletoe prop with a kiss pose included, a spinning starry ball you can sit inside, and a big snowflake, some cold animations and a ginger bread man for the mouth.
Lazy Places – Christmas Props and Poses
The Lazy Places stall at Winterstock is stocked up with props, poses and boots. There’s a nice holiday gift giving pose, a mistle-toe pose, and a couples snowy bench with poses.
CnS E-Motion Props and Poses
Whilst many of the pose creators at Winterstock provide a couples kiss / mistletoe pose, the one found at CnS puts a humorous slant on the topic. There is also a dollarbie pose to be got, and a winter sled prop with poses for groups, couples and singles.
Artilleri – Wagon and Tree and Lights
Although this wagon doesn’t come with poses, it would make an excellent background prop (or wintry decoration) for your own seasonal photography tasks. The wagon comes in three versions – one with haybales, one empty, and one with these wrapped up fir trees, ready to be decorated for Christmas.
The Sad Little Christmas tree is right for those with a sense of humour also. Artilleri also sells a box of christmas string lights to decorate your scene with.
Callie Cline
Aside from some lovely dresses, Callie Cline has some ethereal winter home decorations available – crystal trees, a river, snow mound, icicle snowflakes and several different Christmas Trees. All can form part of your own Christmassy or winter wonderland scenes. I’ve used Callie Cline creations in the header image for this post.
Studio Sidhe – Snowman Snowglobe Prop [Update]
Although on my Friday visit I spotted the Studio Sidhe stand, I had not noticed the exclusive Christmassy prop there at Winterstock. So, here it is, curtesy of Studio Sidhe – a whole big snowman builder snow-globe, available for only L$100.
