My recent posts have featured an occasional shot with me in it, wearing one of my favourite dresses for the season. Whenever I wear this gown, I receive comments – the dress hugs my breasts precisely without enhancing their size too dramatically, and it moves with my movements in a sheen of colour.
The gown, Summer Breeze in Rouge, is from Nicky Ree, and still remains available in her store. For the summer I tend to wear it at the Above 60 size – or shorter size, and hike the glitch pants up so that my legs are bared. There is a longer version of the prim skirt also, which makes an unusual piece to see fluttering around on a dance floor somewhere, and certainly draws some eyes.
Nicky Ree has some fabulous hand-drawn gowns, casual wear and swimwear available at her Tropical Orchid SIM store, many in a stunning colour range you don’t normally see. My example dress shows you the designer’s love for vivid colourways – purples and reds can be found throughout the range.
You can find Nicky Ree’s love of bright passionate colours in even the business suits available. It takes a strong passionate woman to feel confident in wearing Nicky Ree, but she also does some stunningly fabulous gowns and romantic pinks and pastels, accessories including a large range of matching shoes, lingerie and mens wear and some exquisite costumery. I particularly fell in love with the Snow Queen, and would love a winter ball invitation to be able to wear that one.
The Summer Breeze dress is also available in two pinks, a white, and several other summery colour mixes including a stunning sea blue and green mix called Atlanta, a yellow orange mix, and a natural green mix called Olive. Feeling so wonderful in my Rouge set, I decided to gift myself another set, and went for the Atlanta Summer Breeze. I also treated myself to some lingerie while I was there.
